Dear Ferrysburg Community Church Family,
Please scroll down to view the proposed financial plan for 2025 from the Council and the Finance Team. What you will see are a lot of numbers. We hope you will also be able to see what those numbers represent.
Growing Closer to God: Children learning about God’s word and his love for them. Students being led well as they grapple with questions of life and faith. Adults deepening their walk with God through worship services, LifeGroups, and GrowGroups.
Growing Deeper in God’s Family: FCC members being cared for and encouraged through life’s challenges. Intergenerational relationships. Time spent together enjoying a meal or an activity while friendships deepen. Adding eight new members and many new regular attenders to our church family.
Growing Louder in God’s World: Girls from our community learning about Jesus’ love for them (GEMS). Students at Lake Hills School receiving one-on-one attention from a caring adult (Kids Hope). Housing being built in our community to create a strong future for a local family (Kingdom Investment).
In all these ways we are becoming more like Jesus. While financial capital alone can never accomplish this, these resources are used by our staff and by the Lord to advance his kingdom. Thank you for giving generously so far in 2024. With a strong finish, we anticipate meeting all our expenses and our commitments to denominational mission, as well as getting off to a strong start in 2025.
We ask that you prayerfully consider this financial plan and how God is calling you to support it and the ministry it facilitates. The congregational meeting to discuss the plan will take place on November 24 immediately following the service. If you have specific questions after reviewing the financial plan, it would be helpful to our presenters if you could submit your questions before the presentation. You may go to www.ferrysburgchurch.com/budget and follow the link to submit your questions ahead of time. You may also direct questions to an Administrative Council member.
The congregational vote will take place on December 1 during the service. If you will not be present to vote on the 1st, there are absentee ballots in the church office. You can also send an email to office@ferrysburgchurch.com, asking our administrative assistant to submit an absentee ballot on your behalf. If there are any reasons that the budget needs to be revised after the congregational meeting, the vote will be pushed back to allow adequate time to review the revisions.
