GEMS is a place where all 1st-7th grade girls are welcome to belong and be loved. GEMS evenings are packed with songs, games, crafts, lessons, projects, prayer and some special surprises. GEMS focuses on building relationships among girls, with counselors and with Jesus. Throughout the year our goal is to build relationships that help bring the girls into a living relationship with Jesus Christ.
This year’s theme is Rise Up. As we study Queen Esther’s story, your girl will learn she can rise up in faith and stand her ground when she puts her faith in God. In the midst of pressures, challenges, and confusion, we can find hope in God. With hope in God, girls can rise up, stand secure, and have complete confidence that they will be okay, no matter what.
This year’s theme verse is Isaiah 40:31: Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Meeting Times and Dates
GEMS nights are the first and third Mondays of the month from 6:30-8:00PM, starting September 18, 2023 and running through March 18, 2024. Watch for emails and updates on the Ferrysburg GEMS Facebook page with details for various events.
Registration and Dues
This year dues are $20. Registered GEMS will receive this year's t-shirt. Click the button below to pay and select the GEMS fund, or you can pay by cash or check.
