Resources for Racial Awareness

Below is a list of resources to help us understand the experience of others and understand our own experience more objectively.  You may not agree with everything you read, see, or hear.  It will make you uncomfortable.  You will likely feel defensive at many points.  You don’t have to reach final conclusions about this.  We simply invite you to listen, to hear another’s truth, and gain new insights on the American perspective from voices we don’t always hear.  It’s an important part of becoming a community of all kinds of people.  Thanks for moving outside your comfort zone!
